Accord
The small-sized piano "Accord" is developed by Kaluga piano factory "Accord" together with Research institute of musical industry. The given model of the upright piano is appreciated at its true value by experts of the acoustic laboratory by P.I.Chaikovsky , by skilled tuners of the Bolshoy Theatre and Research Institute of Musical Industry. A range of sounding of the piano is 7 1/4 octaves from the note "A" of subcontraoctave up to the note "C" of the five-line octave.

The piano can be of different design - from "Chippendale" style up to the upright classical lines. It is supplied with moderator system, allowing to reduce the intensity of sound through pedal mechanism. The piano can be completed by the additional demountable device, which creates an effect of clavecin sound. The given device is developed at the factory "Accord" and is used only in the piano of model 110. Basic frames, pig-iron frame and sounding board guarantee the maximum strength, taking a load of strings tension up to 16 tones. Pinblock provides a strong and stable tune for many years. It is a construction made of beech or maple wood layered and glued together. Pinblock, thickness 36 mm, consists of 12 layers of beech, glued under high pressure. It is drilled with a multistage drill for a tough fit of pins. Using of select resonant spruce from the best forests of Russia -Arkhangelsk ,Vologda, Perm regions provides resonance - plate of high quality. .Quartersawing , plates selection according to annual rings, creation of sounding board provide the perfect acoustic properties of the piano. The Volgograd steelworks produces the music wire. The winding of bass strings is made of high quality copper wire. I t lays flat against the core, excluding side tones. Piano action is produced of high quality hornbeam and maple. The main aluminum rail provides a reliable construction of mechanism. Piano action hammers largely determine the tone color, dynamics and sounding of the piano. They are produced of high quality English felt. We buy it at the German firm "Renner". Plate elements of the piano case are made of special MDF , supplied by the German firm " Delignit". Using of mahogany, ash, oak sliced veneer helps to create the beautiful design of the piano. Case details are finished with polyether lacquer, in different colors depending on the customers wish, including black, white, red, with gloss coating . The piano is tested at the special playing bench. After that the mechanism is re-adjusted . Expert board accomplishes the acceptance of the instrument and gives the Certificate of Quality. For many years the pianos of the Factory 'Accord" were exported to different countries of Europe and Asia: Italy, Spain, France, Holland , Canada, Poland, Iran, Turkey and others.
